From the starting point at the Reiterhof Obing (near the valley station of the Fieberbrunn cable car), you hike on a rolled winter hiking trail across the fields and along the edge of the forest to the Lauchsee lake. The small lake is often frozen over and completely covered with snow in winter. You hike around it in a loop. Always in view: the Kitzbüheler Horn. On the way back, after the lake, you walk a short distance up a small hill, the view towards the Steinberge and Spielberg is wonderful! The circular hike leads back to the starting point via the Schweinesten farm.
Tip: The loop can also be started at the Lauchsee (car park) and is ideally suited for snowshoe hikers.
