Diverse hike on a quiet plateau with different karst formations and dry Alpine pastures. Areas covered by mountain pines, various mixed forests and continual views in all directions round off this mountain experience. The route leads over climbs, meadow paths and roads. It is classed as medium difficulty.
The long-distance hikers head downhill to the Baumoosalm Alpine pasture and onto the finish point of the KAT Walk. 
Summit cross on Baumooskogel at sunrise on KAT Walk Alpine stage 6 / compact stage 5. 
The sunrise hike rewarded the two hikers on the KAT Walk. 
On KAT Walk Alpine stage 6 / compact stage 5, the herd of goats has quickly made itself noticed. 
The last stage of the KAT Walk features a range of Alpine pastures with stunning panoramic views. 
After six stages, 106 km and 6,350 m of altitude difference, the long-distance hikers have reached the end of the KAT Walk.
It was an extraordinary experience! Being so close to nature, seeing animals up close and fantastic views! A tour with lots of variety that also shows you your personal limits. All in all, an unforgettable experience!
