Traditional End Of Year Celebration in Mariastein

Mariastein celebrates the traditional end of the year in the castle courtyard of the pilgrimage site.

New Year's Eve service in the pilgrims' courtyard of the pilgrimage site, followed by a torchlight walk "around the castle" (duration approx. 20 minutes).

10 p.m. New Year's Eve fireworks at the Mariasteinerhof and a cozy end to the year at the Pilgerhof with punch, mulled wine, sparkling wine and beer.
