The newly designed Museum Wörgl offers a historical look back to the Bronze Age. The history of the town of Wörgl, including its social and wartime history with the transit camp of the time, is highlighted as well as local folk culture, crafts and the history of regional industries. Rarities include archaeological finds from the Iron Age and the Roman Imperial Period, an extensive collection of notched wood and documentation of Wörgl's free money.
Special opening times for groups and guided tours on the topics of prehistory/early history and Wörgl free money on request.
