SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and the KitzSki skiing area
Brixental valley, and its three towns of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf, nestles in the middle of two of the biggest, most state-of-the-art and best ski areas in the world: SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is waiting for you, with more than 275 kilometres of perfectly tended pistes. The multi-award winning and famous ski area of Kitzbühel / Kirchberg offers ski fun on 200 kilometres. Both ski areas are directly connected to one another via a shuttle bus and with their 500 kilometres of pistes, they create one of the biggest, direct ski associations in the world.
Brixental valley is located on the northern edge of the Tirol Alps, right after the German-Austrian border, and therefore creates the perfect and shortest access route to your ski holiday. Due to the northern barrier effect and an altitude level of up to 2000 metres, the ski areas are exceptionally snow-assured. KitzSki even offers the longest ski dates of a non-glacier ski area in Austria (mid-October - start of May).
