Winter Hike to Gasthaus Ruetzen

Leaving the village (at the Kalswirt) we go through the underpass and continue along the Weinbergweg as far as the Weinberghof, then left along the Wehrbachweg as far as the Sonnbergstraße.  Here, turn to the left and continue until you reach the junction for Spertendorf, then right in the direction of Hölzwinkl.  We walk along this quiet road until we arrive at the Ruetzenhof.  Our return route can be either the same we took or alternatively, in Spertendorf we can turn onto the main road which we cross and continue along this route in the direction of the railway tracks.  After the small underpass, the walking trail, to the left, runs alongside the railway tracks returning to the village.
