This 300-year-old hut is situated on the Schwaigerberg in a quiet location, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, such as the Loferer Steinberge, the Rettenstein or the Choralpe, as well as the Wilder Kaiser. The sunny terrace invites you to linger over breakfast and dinner. Cows, horses and goats are in the immediate vicinity.

In the winter months, the hut is easily accessible with snow chains.

The three villages of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf are worth a visit at any time of year. Winter convinces with over 500 kilometres of slopes in the two ski areas KitzSki and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. In the summer months, countless hiking and cycling trails lead you to the most beautiful places in the region and make your heart beat faster. In spring, the meadows blossom in the most colourful colours and the quiet days invite you to recharge your batteries. The hut is spaciously divided into four bedrooms, two double rooms and two twin rooms with an extra relaxation room. In addition, there is a bathroom with shower, kitchen and a separate dining room in the hut. The kitchen is equipped with a wood burning stove, oven and fridge and offers space for cooking and socialising.
