Guided tour of the Mariastein pilgrimage church

After climbing the 150 steps to the Chapel of Grace in the tower of the famous pilgrimage church, you are rewarded with the sight of the renowned gothic Madonna statue, which has been attracting pilgrims from near and far to "Maria am Stein" since the late Middle Ages. The impressive pilgrimage church also offers some very special highlights alongside the exhibition items in the castle museum: the "Tyrolean State Insignia," including the Archduke's hat and the scepter, donated by the regional prince, Maximilian, the Grand Master (around 1600).
