Winter hike through the stars
An exhilarating hike through the universe with star guide Tobias Muster
Anyone who has ever stood in a dark place under a twinkling starry sky on a clear winter's night will probably remember the majesty of this sight for the rest of their life. On the Glücks-Sterndl hike, we trudge a short distance up a wintry forest path to the clearing of the Bachermahd, where an overwhelming panoramic view of the winter starry sky opens up. With binoculars, a laser pointer and relaxation exercises, we immerse ourselves deeply in this "greatest picture book of mankind" above us, while at the same time feeling more and more connected to the earth below us. In the second part, we set off on an even deeper journey of discovery through the universe using a mobile telescope we have brought with us. What remains is a feeling of gratitude for the good fortune of being able to surf through space on this unique blue planet Earth.
