2 day hike:
Day 1:
The guided hike to the Ursulablick offers an excellent opportunity to assess your own fitness level and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Tyrolean mountains. Accompanied by a local mountain hiking guide, the tour begins with a check of the contents of your rucksack. Valuable packing tips are given to ensure that all participants are optimally prepared for the long-distance hike.
During the hike, the use of hiking poles and the reading of hiking signs are explained to make the hiking experience safer and more informative. There is also a briefing on useful apps and emergency call systems so that participants are well prepared in the event of an emergency. A skills check also provides an overview of the participants' abilities so that the level of difficulty can be adjusted accordingly. If some participants have forgotten important items of equipment, these can be organised in time for the start of the long-distance hike.
The chosen route to Ursulablick offers a varied hiking experience with different surfaces. This variety allows participants to test their skills on different types of terrain while enjoying the magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser.
Day 2:
The hike on the first stage of the Eagle Trail is led by local mountain hiking guides. The hike begins impressively in the nature reserve of the Kaiser Mountains and offers a varied and fascinating landscape. Gentle meadows stretch out in the alpine regions, while the Wilder Kaiser presents its imposing peaks such as the Maukspitze, Ackerlspitze, Regalpspitze and Törlspitze, all over 2,000 metres high. A particular highlight of the hike is the Schleier waterfall, which cascades spectacularly down the rock faces.
The destination is the Gaudeamushütte, where hikers are greeted with warm hospitality and traditional Tyrolean cuisine. The overnight stay at the Gaudeamushütte offers the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains to the full and prepare for the continuation of the long-distance hike the next day. You can book your overnight stay yourself via the hut's website.
For those who do not wish to continue hiking after the first stage, there is the option of returning to the valley. After the descent, a taxi will take you back to St. Johann in Tirol, while you can look back on an unforgettable hike.

Changes to the hiking routes can be made by the mountain guide before the start of the tour or during the day. We ask for your understanding if participants with insufficient equipment cannot be taken along. Participation from the age of 12; dogs are not permitted.
Equipment: mountain or hiking boots (no trainers), suitable clothing, drinks, small snack, rain jacket, sun protection, rucksack, hiking poles (hiking poles can be hired on site)
