In the summer of 1875, the "Giselabahn" – officially the "Salzburg-Tiroler Bahn" – was put into operation for the first time after three years of construction. For the 150th anniversary, the local heritage association Pillersee is dedicating an exhibition to this significant railway line at the Kulturhaus Hochfilzen.
The exhibition at the Kulturhaus Hochfilzen takes visitors on a journey through time: from the dramatic events during the railway's construction to the economic upheavals and the social changes brought about by the railway. Historical exhibits, impressive image panels, interactive multimedia elements, and a detailed model railway bring the past to life. | Cost: Free admission | Meeting point: Kulturhaus, Schulgasse 1, 6395 Hochfilzen
