Ski lodges and mountain restaurants

"Large ski areas provide extensive self-service restaurants where guests get to serve themselves." It doesn’t have to be that way! SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and the Kitzbühel / Kirchberg ski area have shown that things are quite different. Pleasure and well-being are the order of the day here. That is why there are more than 120, mostly small, privately managed mountain lodges which have a traditional, Tirol style, right in the ski areas. Welcoming waiters and waitresses serve delicious foods typical of the region, for instance ‘Speckknödel’, ‘sugared and shredded pancakes’, ‘Germknödel’, ‘Tiroler Gröstl’ and the like.
