When dusk falls in the Brixental, the spectators are treated to a blazing spectacle:
Over 40,000 torches form impressive fire images on the mountain slopes of the Brixental, for example a pair of lederhosen and a traditional hat.
Every year, the "mountain light" delights locals and guests anew when the clubs from Kirchberg, Brixen im Thale and Westendorf attach their symbols, coats of arms and lettering to the freshly mowed, "natural canvases". Around 9:30 p.m., the works of art are lit and transform the valley into a starry sky. The best way to experience the many fire pictures is by car, during a drive from Westendorf via Brixen to Kirchberg.
The Gaisberg lift is open continuously until 11 p.m.
The ticket office until 9:00 p.m.
From 5:00 p.m., reduced rates apply for ascent and descent.
The Alpenrosenbahn Westendorf is open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
There are reduced tariffs for night trips!
