With "Stories from the Viennese Woods," the GASTSTUBENBÜHNE WÖRGL bids farewell to its long-standing venue, the Astnersaal. Under the direction of Stefan Bric, Ödön von Horváth's masterpiece will once again be brought to the stage in an elaborate production.
The play, a sharply observed and tragicomic portrait of the interwar period, tells the story of the young Marianne, who searches for freedom in a web of illusions and disappointments.
