The Brass Band Fröschl Hall has a very special highlight in store for the 2025 New Year's concerts: Together with the Hall choir Stimmsalz, CHORrekt and the jazz choir StimmenHören, the concert evenings will be held under the motto ‘Movies in Concert’. Be it the mountainous plains of Middle-earth, dense jungle forests or the vast landscape of the savannah - for film enthusiasts of all genres, the New Year's concerts promise a cinematic experience for the ears. On Friday, 3 January 2025, the Brass Band Fröschl Hall will be performing in the Kaisersaal in St. Johann.
As soon as the typical marching rhythm and unmistakable trumpet solo are heard, the fearless professor with hat and whip immediately comes to mind. John Williams created a milestone in cinema history with his composition for "Indiana Jones ’. In addition to soundtracks to other classics such as ‘Ben Hur’, ‘James Bond “ and ”The Lion King’ , the film music to lesser-known films such as ‘La Califfa’, ‘Funny Lady’ and ‘1492: Conquest of Paradise’ will also be heard. The highlight of the concert will undoubtedly be the ‘Suite from Aladdin’ arranged by conductor Corsin Tuor, in which he has adapted the most important themes and motifs from the animated classic for the Brass Band Fröschl Hall and the participating choirs.
