Get new swing into your life!
You will be delighted and also surprised just how well-maintained the courses in the golf centre of the Kitzbühel Alps are and how much the Alpine landscape challenges and enriches your game. Golfing in the Alps is a sporting challenge and offers sheer golfing fun for beginners all the way to handicap players.
Golfcourse Westendorf
Off the beaten track you’ll find the 18-hole golf course, opened in 2014, on the wonderful sunny plateau of Westendorf. The youngest golf course of the region with a total distance of 5,882m (Par 72) impresses first and foremost by its extremely quiet location and the Scandinavian flair.
The championship golf course, nestled among the 64 hectares large natural landscape with great touch, was awarded a Four Star Superior Award by the federal association for golf facilities in spring 2015. Sheltered in the north by the imposing Hohe Salve, the flat and easily walkable course offers, in addition to a true sports challenge, unforgettable panoramic views of the Tirolean alpine world.
Top-location of the golf course Westendorf
The quietly located golf course Kitzbüheler Alpen - Westendorf is located south-west of the neat centre of Westendorf in the district of Holzham/Auwald. In the heart of the golf region Kitzbühel Alps, it is only some 15 minutes away from the Inntal-Autobahn (exit Wörgl) and from Kitzbühel.
The 18-hole golf course, opened in 2014, is gently integrated into the existing "Aunerwald" forest to make it one of the only forest golf courses in Tirol. Unique views and panoramas into Inntal Valley and the nearby natural treasure of Windau Valley make playing golf in Westendorf a natural experience.
Particularly well-done is how the clubhouse has been integrated into the surroundings of the golf course Westendorf. A ProShop, a restaurant with panoramic terrace, locker rooms with showers and a few apartments make golfers hearts’ leap for joy. Three picturesquely designed irrigation lakes further break up the terrain.
In Tirol playing golf means: Arriving, feeling at ease and having enough space to practice. Some 30 teeing grounds (of which 8 covered) can be found at the extensive driving range in Westendorf. Two additional areas for chipping and pitching provide enough space for practising. In addition, beginners and the advanced will find just the right coach, good tips and some tricks in the golf school Westendorf. That way, playing golf in Westendorf is sure to be a huge success!
